About the Artist
I learnt etching during my Foundation Course at Hornsey College of Art and have been fascinated by printmaking media ever since. I attended the Central School of Art and Design as a postgraduate student and studied with Norman Ackroyd, David Gluck and Martin Davidson.
The overall theme of my work is the recording the physical effects of time through natural erosion or more violent events: subjects range from archaeological sites, storm battered trees, to remnants of war torn objects.
