About the Artist
Completed a BA (Hons) Fine Art specialising in painting and printmaking at Glyndwr University in 2009. Has been a finalist in the Neo Print Prize and Nottingham Castle Contemporary Art Exhibition.
In the Autumn of 2016 exhibited ‘Reveal, Conceal’, a collection of screen prints inspired by the Jewellery Quarter at BPN Architects in Birmingham.
Last year (2018) was involved in a collaborative art project funded by Arts Council England marking the end of the First World War. Work is inspired by the Wilfred Owen’s poems ‘Futility’ and ‘Spring Offensive ‘. Exploring a sense and contrast of hope and loss, winter and spring using Shropshire landscapes where Owen lived and visited with his family.
Has also exhibited with East London Printmakers and the Mostyn Gallery, Llandudno.
At present some of my prints are in Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, Shropshire and have been part of a touring exhibition of a ‘Cabinet of Curiosity’ in Shropshire and North Wales, partly funded by Arts Council England.
