About the Artist
Statement
During the last few years I have traveled alone painting the Sakura in Japan and the gardens of David Austin’s Rose Nursery in Shropshire, England, UK and have been overwhelmed by the beauty of nature.
Painting/ drawing are a battle & challenging but when armed with these artworks as a resource in the print studio I forget to eat or drink as the print process is all consuming. I love the possibilities of using colour-ways and layers. I work until every part of me aches at the end of the day, but relish looking at the vitality, the successes and astounding results.
