About the Artist
Lindsey is a printmaker who has a studio in Liverpool. She has a keen interest in the relationship between printmaking and photography. She carries a camera everywhere and likes to capture the influence of light on both natural and manmade environments. Since her art research fellowship, looking at the role of the computer in fine art printmaking; integrating different print/photographic processes has always influenced the direction of her work. Lindsey is fascinated by the evolution of an image once captured. She works predominantly with photopolymer etching plates. As an educator she has a love of learning and her current body of work captures architectural venues that curate and store knowledge or have significant historical importance.
