About the Artist
I’m an artist printmaker, based in Manchester, UK. I make original linocuts mostly – as well as woodcut prints and etchings. I rediscovered my love of traditional printmaking techniques in 2008, when I was living in Wales, and have been hooked ever since.
My work today is mostly inspired by landscapes, especially our interaction with the world around us. I love hill walking and like to capture a sense of place, whether in remote places, or industrial and city landscapes. I’m also drawn to details and motifs with a personal connection.
‘Serenity’ is my largest work to date and was a commission from the Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital.
I’m a member of Hot Bed Press printmaking workshop in Salford and part of Prospect Printmakers in Rossendale. You can check out more of my work on my website, where you will also find connections to my social media and blog.
