About the Artist
Daniela Rizzi, her practice includes painting, printmaking, drawing, photography and mixed media. The work evolves through the process of working and as such is intuitive, and part of it progresses with certain definitive ideas. Use of strong colour, formal and informal aspects of image making and personal concerns define her artwork.
She exhibits regularly and has work held in the Victoria & Albert Museum and private collections. Daniela is a member of the Printmakers Council, East London Printmakers and a studio member of the Barbican Arts Group Trust. She has been teaching for over twenty years and is a lecturer at Morley College.
