The Printmakers Council is pleased to announce that our first print exhibition of 2024 is to be in the Foyer Exhibition in the prestigious Barbican Library.

The title of the show is – ‘Surface Challenge’ – and we are expecting work from you the members that thoroughly explores the versatility of mark making using all printmaking techniques.

This is deliberately an open brief. You can be as innovative as you dare, or really subtle and delicate, or a combination of both.

Selection Date                                             10th January

Member notification date                            15th January

Delivery Dates to Office.                              18th, 24th, 31st January

Commission: The Barbican take 20% commission. PMC will not be taking commission .

Frames: Black, White and Neutral. All work must be framed to a professional standard.

Insurance. Responsibility of the artist at times.

3D work. The barbican has 2 display cases, so 3D works are welcomed.

Hanging: D Rings

Delivery.

Please deliver work in a stiffy bag or equivalent. (No bubble wrap please)

Please label your bag clearly with your name.

Please attach a label with your name and work title, to the rear of your work long enough to hang over the front.  This helps with labelling.
